How has the domain name/account change policy changed?
As the process and policy for domain account changes have been improved, we will inform you of changes.
existing policy
- The recipient must register as a member and register basic registration information.
- The sender must process both the application and consent.
- The recipient cannot know the progress until final completion.
As the existing policy above was difficult to apply, proceed with, and complete, we reorganized the policy and process.
new policy
- You can apply with only the recipient's email address, regardless of whether the recipient is a member or not.
- Both the sender and recipient can check the status in real time in the Domain Management > Account Change menu.
- The sender can cancel the application, and the recipient can refuse to receive it.
- The recipient can change ownership immediately after completing the account change.
- Your application will be automatically canceled 7 days after application.
- If you only change the domain owner, all information can be changed immediately after verifying the owner on the domain details page.
