How to change owner/administrator information
This is a method to change the owner of a domain (change its name).
This method does not change the Hosting KR ID that manages the domain, but only changes information such as the owner's name and email.
1. After logging in to Hosting KR, go to My Service > Domain Management on the right.
2. Click the domain name.
3. Click the edit (pencil shape) button for the contact.
4. Owner authentication via email and SMS.
5. After authentication, select the owner/administrator, edit the information, and save.
Note
- If authentication is not possible because the owner authentication information is not visible, please contact the administrator (Customer Center > 1:1 Inquiry).
- If the authentication number does not arrive by email, please first check whether you have opted out or blocked reception and then contact the administrator (Customer Center > 1:1 Inquiry).
How to change multiple domains at once
1. After logging in to Hosting KR, go to My Service > Domain Management on the right.
2. In My Domain, check the domain you want to change and click the Change Owner or Change Administrator button.
3. Verify the owner. At this time, if each owner's information is different, each owner must be authenticated.
(Authentication not required for administrators)
4. After authentication is complete, you can freely change the owner information below. (Can be changed between individuals <-> companies)
And if you have pre-saved user information, you can automatically load the information by selecting it in the upper right corner.
4. In case of change of owner information, authenticate with the email or mobile phone number of the owner information.
If the domain owner information is different, authentication may be performed multiple times.
Domains with the same owner information are authenticated only once using the same authentication method.
5. After authentication, enter the information and click ‘Change Information’ to complete the change.
If email and SMS authentication is not possible, please submit the documents below to customer service and request a change.
- Individual: Copy of ID card
- Individual business: copy of business registration certificate, copy of representative ID card
- Corporate business: Copy of business registration certificate, copy of ID card of person in charge, proof of employment of person in charge (within 7 days of issuance)
※ Please submit all personal information with the last digits of your resident registration number hidden, and personal information will be discarded immediately after processing your request.
