Use this interface to create and manage multiple domains from a single cPanel account.
Create a new domain
Important :
To create a new domain, your hosting provider uses WHM's Feature Manager interface. ( WHM > > Home > > Package > > Function You must enable at least one of the following features in Manager (Feature Manager) ):
- Addon (Addon) Domain
- Alias (Aliases)
- Subdomains Domains (Subdomains)
To create a domain, follow these steps:
1. Click Create a New Domain. A new interface will appear.
2. Enter the full domain name in the Domain text box.
- To create a new domain, enter the new domain name. For example, example.com.
- To create a subdomain, enter a new name, a period (.), and your website's domain. For example, type subdomain.example.com to create a subdomain for example.com. This domain also appears in cPanel's Subdomains interface (cPanel > > Home > > Domains > > Subdomains).
3. Optionally, you can specify the directory where the files for the domain will reside (the domain's document root). To create this directory, uncheck the Share document root with “example.com” checkbox. Here, example.com represents the primary domain.
- Domains that share the document root also appear in cPanel's Aliases interface (cPanel > > Home > > Domain > > Alias).
- Domains that do not share a document root are cPanel's Addon Domains interface (cPanel > > Home > > Domain > > Addon Documents) and the Subdomains interface (cPanel > > Home > > Domains > > Subdomains). It also appears in
Note :
- The interface automatically fills in the remaining text boxes and recommends using these values. However, if you want to Document Root ( File System Place You can enter different values in ) and children domain text boxes.
- This setting will only appear if your hosting provider has enabled it.
- The following directories are not available:
1. To automatically redirect new domain visitors from the insecure version of your website to the secure version set the Force HTTPS Redirect to On do
2. Click Submit or click Submit and Create Another Domain .

Note :
Some settings will only appear if your hosting provider's settings enable them.
This interface lists domains.
- domain
- Click Domain to sort the list alphabetically by account name.
- Click on individual domains to visit freely accessible websites.
Note :
The Main Domain label identifies the domain listed by your hosting provider to create this account.
- Document Root (Document Root)
- Click Document Root to sort the list alphabetically by relative directory path.
- Click the Home icon () or the file path to File Manager for that domain. ) Interface ( cPanel > > Home > > Files > > Files Manager ). A new interface will appear.
Note :
This interface is provided by your hosting provider to the File Manager interface ( cPanel > > Home > > Files > > Files If you disable Administrator ), it will show unlinked file paths. Contact your hosting provider for more information.
- Redirects To — If the listed domain is redirecting to another domain, the destination appears here. Click on a domain to visit a freely accessible website. A new tab will appear.
Note :
To manage redirects: Redirects interface ( cPanel > > Home > > Domain > > Redirect ( Explore Redirects )).
- Force HTTPS Redirect
- To redirect visitors from your new domain from the insecure (HTTP) version of your website to the secure (HTTPS) version, set the toggle to On .
- To disable redirection to the secure version of the website, set the toggle to Off ( Off ).
Important :
- Redirects can only be enabled on primary domains that also hold a valid SSL certificate. If you are unable to enable redirection for your domain, please contact your hosting provider.
- The toggle does not appear for aliases.
Note :
Select the appropriate checkbox then the top of the table or Force HTTPS Redirect Off (Force HTTPS Redirect Off) Click to do this for multiple accounts.
- Actions (Actions)
- Manage (Manage) — Click Manage to manage additional settings. A new interface will appear.
- Email Create (Create Email) — To create an email address for your domain: Email Create Click (Create Email) . Email Accounts (Email Accounts ) Interface ( cPanel > > Home > > Email > > Email Account appears
- To display the subdomains that you use, follow these steps:
1. Click the gear icon ().
2. Click Show Associated Domains .

This setting is only available if addon domains exists.
Manage
Note :
These settings will only appear if enabled by your hosting provider.
Use Manage the Domain interface to manage a domain's document directory, remove a domain, or perform other operations. In the Additional Resources (Additional Resources) menu, you can perform the following actions to perform in a new browser tab:
- Email Address Create (Create an Email Address) — Add an email address to your website.
- Site Publisher Site Create a Site (Create a Site with Site Publisher) — Previous Create a simple website quickly, even if you've never created a website before.
- Zones the Zones — Create, edit and delete Domain Name System (DNS) records.
- Redirects Modify Redirects Send all visitors to your domain or special page to a different URL.
New document root
Your domain's document root directory defines the domain's directory compared to your cPanel account's home directory. For example, enter newdomain.com in the New Document Root text box for a cPanel account that uses the /home/username home directory. Files for that domain reside in the /home/username/public_html/newdomain.com directory.
Note :
- This setting only appears if enabled by your hosting provider.
- This action changes the directory in which the server searches for files. Do not rearrange the files in any way.
- You cannot modify the document root directory for domains that share that directory with your primary domain.
To provide a new document root directory, follow these steps:
1. Enter a new path compared to the user's home directory.
2. Click Update .
Remove domain
To remove a domain from your cPanel account, follow these steps:
1. Click Remove Domain .
2. To confirm removal of this domain, click Yes, remove this domain .
Note :
- We recommend that you create a full account backup before removing your domain. For more information about backups, see our Backup document Please read.
- This operation only removes the vhost entry and DNS entry for the domain. The server maintains the domain's directory and contents.
- You cannot delete your primary domain.
Email account when domain is removed
If you remove the domain that contains your email accounts, these email accounts will be renamed to Email Accounts ) Interface ( cPanel > > Home > > Email > > Email Account ) does not appear. However, the mail folder still exists on the server. When you add your domain again, your email account will appear again.
