HTML Using the editor interface, you can use file manager Interface ( cPanel > > Home > > File > > You can easily edit HTML documents in Files Manager ). This visual (WYSIWYG) HTML editor includes the powerful editing features of familiar desktop editors (such as Microsoft® Word).
note:
- Due to customization, the screenshots in the guide do not match HTML editor interface that the user sees. The table below lists the features of all interfaces.
- HTML editor interface uses the CKEditor function. For more information, read the CKEditor User Guide .
toolbar
HTML Data interface provides the following tools to help you edit HTML files.
Save
Save the file to the server.
template
Select a template to use to organize your document into a pre-filled form. Each template includes elements such as page layout, text formatting and styles.
Print the file.
redo undo
Undo or redo text selection in content.
- Click the left arrow to undo the most recent action.
- Click the right arrow to repeat the action you just undone.
Find and replace
Search and replace selected text in your content.
- Click the Find icon to search text for specific content.
- Click the Replace icon to search for content and replace it with different content entered in the text box.
select all
Then select the entire document, which you can cut and copy or delete.
Form tool
Insert one or more form elements (such as check boxes, text boxes, selection fields, or buttons). A form can contain the following elements:
-Check boxes allow users to select one or more items from a list within a form.
-Radio buttons allow users to select one item from a list within a form.
-A text box is a single-line field that allows users to enter text.
-A text area is a scrollable, multi-line field in which users can enter text.
-A selection field is a scrollable list from which the user can select one or more settings.
-A button allows users to submit the completed form.
-Hidden fields are fields that the user can see but that the system submits to the server along with the completed form.
text tool
Change the appearance of the text with the following settings:
- Bold
- Italics
- Underline
- Below Subscript
- Above Subscript
Remove Format tool
Removes formatting from selected text, but retains the text itself. If you copied content from an external source and the formatting doesn't match the rest of the document, click this setting to set the text back to the default style.
list tool
Create ordered (numbered) or unordered (bulleted) lists from your content.
Indent tool
Increase the left or right indent of selected paragraphs.
Block quote tool
Creates a citation block for selected text.
Div
Creates a div container for the selected text.
Alignment tool
Format selected text or images with Left Align, Center, Right Align, or Center Align settings.
link tool
Create a link to a website or file in your content. If you have added links that you no longer need, highlight them and use the broken link icon to remove them.
Anchor tool
Create anchors in your content that link to other sections within your website.
image tools
Insert the image into the file. This tool also allows you to browse to a server (rather than your local computer) and select an image from there.

Add tables, horizontal lines, page breaks, and other special characters to your content.
Tools for embedding media content from various sites
Insert multimedia elements, such as YouTube™ videos and Flash objects, into your documents.
style menu
Creates a font style for selected text.
Paragraph Format Menu
Sets the paragraph style for selected text.
text direction tool
Sets the direction of text from left to right or right to left.
font menu
Sets settings for selected text.
note:
We recommend using a global font to ensure that the style you set remains the same.
size menu
Sets the font size of the text.
color tool
Set the color of the text as well as the background color of the text.
minimization
Minimize the interface to fit a small window.
Show Blocks tool
Displays a grid that separates block-level elements by HTML tags.
source
Displays the source code for the content area.
About
CKEditor Displays information about files Browser (File Browser) on a website.
Insert Image
To insert an image, follow these steps:
One.In the toolbar, click the Image Tools (Image tool) icon. The editor displays the Image Properties interface. The Image includes the following tabs:
- Image Information ( Default ) — Set the image URL and display it in the document. Manipulating the way things happen.
- Link (Link) — Creates an image link that can point to another web page or document, for example.
- Upload (Upload) — Saves the image to a server where you can retrieve it without a local computer.
- Advanced (Advanced) — Configure image settings (for example, ID assignment, class, tooltips, or CSS properties).
note:
You should use tab only if you understand HTML and CSS.
2. Check the settings in the Preview interface and click OK .

note:
Enable the Hotlink Protection feature and ensure that the list of enabled hotlinks excludes primary domain accounts. If you do this, you will not be able to view the embedded images. To fix this, add primary domain to URLs to allow access list.
File Browser
Browser Server (Browse Server) Settings go to the File Browser section of the interface. Use this section to search, upload, and manage images in your cPanel account.
This interface contains the following sections:
- Toolbar (Toolbar) — A series of buttons that quickly launch specific file browser functions.
-Move up and down in a folder.
-View detailed information about the selected file.
- Folders Pane (Folders pane) — Organizes a folder hierarchy for easy navigation. Use the arrows to expand and collapse the various hierarchical levels.
- Files pane (Files pane) — Lists the files available in the selected folder.
- Status bar (Status bar) — A section at the bottom of the interface that displays information about the total number of files in the selected file or folder. .
