Once I register a domain, can I still use it? Or should I extend it?
The maximum domain retention period varies depending on the domain type, but general domains can be registered and extended for up to 10 years.
When registering a domain, you must additionally extend it before the specified period expires, and a separate extension fee will be incurred at the time of extension.
Before expiration, a notification of the scheduled expiration date will be sent to member ID, owner email, etc., so you can maintain the deadline without missing it.
You can easily manage your domain by manually renewing it before expiration or setting it for automatic renewal.
