What is domain reservation registration?
Service Introduction
If the existing owner of an already registered domain passes the expiration date and does not extend it until the extension period, the domain will be permanently deleted, and anyone can register a new domain.
The reservation registration service automatically attempts registration in the system at the time the domain is deleted, allowing you to quickly occupy the domain.
However, since reservation registration does not grant 100% preemptive rights, registration attempts may be successful or unsuccessful depending on the order of arrival.
Domains available for application
Currently only .com, .net, .kr, and .Korean domains are available.
Costs and Payments
Prepayment is standard, and payment is possible only with a deposit.
.KR is 11,000 won (VAT included), and .com and .net operate at variable prices due to exchange rate fluctuations.
You can check the current price by searching in the reservation registration menu.
How to apply
1. Click Domain > Reservation Registration menu.
2. Search for the desired domain and click Reserve Registration. Alternatively, you can click Reserve Registration on the domain search page.
3. After entering the owner information, click Pay and make the payment.
Notice
- Domains registered through the reservation registration service cannot be cancelled.
- If reservation registration fails or the reservation application is canceled, the deposit will be automatically refunded.
- To prevent registration failure due to information errors when attempting registration, the name server is default set to Hosting KR name server (can be changed later).
- Reservation registration does not guarantee 100% preemption.
