Fix invalid domains
We will guide you through cases where domains are displayed as “invalid domains” when adding domains to web hosting and how to resolve them.
For invalid domains
1. Expired domain
If the domain you connected to has expired, you will not be able to access it. Please contact your domain registrar for extension and restoration.
2. Deleted and unregistered domains
The domain you connected may have been deleted after expiration, or may have been deleted for certain reasons.
Please check the domain and then register a new one.
3. If the domain status is ClientHold or ServerHold
In your domain's WHOIS information, the Status may be listed as ClientHold or ServerHold.
For ClientHold
If the domain has expired: Extension and recovery process
If the domain is not verified after new registration or information change: Process after checking the verification email sent to the owner's email
For ServerHold
Confirm and resolve the reason through the domain registrar with a hold set by the domain higher authority.
4. Domain whose name server has been deleted
If there is no name server for the domain, you must check the reason with the domain registration company and re-register.
In a typical case, access may be blocked due to an illegal domain being reported, or the name server may be deleted at the owner's request.
If the above is not resolved, please contact Customer Center > 1:1 Inquiry.
